This elegant building, initially owned by the Spinelli family and later passed to the Regna family, is a refined example of late Renaissance architecture. Constructed in the 17th century, it underwent some modifications during the 18th century, as seen in several windows overlooking Cathedral Square.
One of the most distinctive elements of the façade is the string course that runs the length of the building just below the balconies. This horizontal band creates a sense of balance and rhythm in the design. The balconies themselves—part of the original architectural plan—feature gracefully curved wrought-iron railings supported by low-profile stone brackets, a solution likely dictated by the narrowness of the street below.
Among the most striking details are the small balconies adorned with two delicate metal roses at the corners—an emblem of the Spinelli family crest. The Spinellis, chose this decorative motif as a symbolic reference to their connection with the historic War of the Roses.
Another notable feature is the façade along Antonio Planelli Street, which curves gently to follow the preexisting street layout. This architectural choice reflects the organic flow of the medieval town and enhances the structure's overall harmony and elegance.
